White & Duck Egg Blue Hutch


 I painted this hutch with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in White and Duck Egg Blue.


The top was stripped and stained with Minwax Dark Walnut.  I used the soft wax as the final step.

I'm not sure if I'm going to put the doors back on the hutch or not.  For now I like the open look without the doors.



My assistant, Smokey, insisted that the vignette be adjusted.

Katie! I LOVE your "new" hutch! You did a really great job of painting the ho-hum piece of furniture and turning it into a fabulous shabby chic beauty. I would leave off the doors...so pretty. I saw your post over at "Metamorphosis Monday".

You have to love how that turned out! That blue color couldn't be more perfect!
