Sherwin Williams has a new color tool called Chip It. You can load any photo from the web, and a color palette will be selected to coordinate with the colors of your photo.
Click on Sherwin Williams Chip It to give it a try.
Another great tool to use when planning your color schemes.

Hi, I JUST FOUND YOU ON SUTTON PLACE.
Great blog.
Hope you come for a visit, I'm having a giveaway.
Thank you for this information since I am in the process of trying to make a decision about paint color. I seem to be stuck on a color for my powder room. I enjoy your blog.----Shannon
This looks like a great idea!! I'm wishing we had Sherwin Williams in England!! I heard of a machine once that you can point at a wall and it tells you what colour the wall is painted. How cool would that be? I can't remember its name but I know I want one!

This is a great tip! I could totally spend way to much time exploring this. :)
Love that chip it...it was fun that day I played on it too. Love these colors!
I love Chip it! I have too many addictions, so I'm trying to stay away from it ;) If I'm not careful, I spend all day on the computer!

How cool is that? I was just wondering the other day if there was a magical tool for figuring out what paint color would go with my couch. Now it appears that there is such a magical thing. :)
I can't wait to try this out! What an awesome tool.
Hey Katie~
After seeing this tool somewhere, I lost it. So happy to see it here. Thanks!
