Susan at Between Naps on the Porch wrote a post about an article from Garden & Gun magazine, which featured a tour of Rachel Ashwell's Texas home and included a a fun Q&A with the designer and founder of the brand we know as "Shabby Chic."
Susan decided to answer the questionnaire herself and invited her readers to do likewise. The following are my answers to the Q&A:

4. Daydream of the moment:? To see the first flowers of spring.

6. Are you more garden or gun? Garden.
7. If you were road-tripping, what's the one album you'd take with you? Fleetwood Mac.
8. What are you reading? One Thousand Gifts.
9. What do you want to do when you grow up? Create beauty through design, photography, gardening, etc.
10. What is your greatest extravagance? Mani/Pedis. Guilty Pleasure? Chocolate covered pretzels.
11. Favorite Southern Food? Sweet potatoes.
12. Most treasured possession? My wedding ring.
13. Favorite Southern name? Samantha.
14. What talent would you most like to have? To be a good photographer.
15. What's your current state of mind? Thankful.

1. Favorite Cocktail: a glass of malbec wine
2. Favorite Getaway:a secluded cabin anywhere, preferably fall weather.

6. Are you more garden or gun? garden without a doubt. i do not like guns.
7. If you were road-tripping, what's the one album you'd take with you? right now it would be a tie between adele, taylor swift, and the civil wars
8. What are you reading? just finished comfort & joy by kristin hannah and am about to start night road by her. i just love her books!
9. What do you want to do when you grow up? i don't ever want to grow up. i would love to just be able to continue on as i am. but i do dream of doing something for the greater good... working for a charity or something.
10. What is your greatest extravagance? Guilty Pleasure? i don't really have that many extravagances.... i am not a luxe kind of gal and i tend tofeel really guilty when i pay a lot for something.... my guilty pleasure is LMN movies.
