White Octagon Table

I've been waiting for Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint in Pure White and chose this octagon table to try it.

The beautiful after.

 The sad looking before.

The top was stripped and stained with Minwax Dark Walnut.

The base was painted with ASCP in Pure White, distressed and finished with the Soft Wax.  Love the texture of this paint.

A classy table you did there. Love the shape too- it's not one you see alot of but is a "wow" factor to any room (IMHO)

Thanks for sharing :D

This turned out really beautiful! Love the shape of this table. I have not used chalk pain before...but I keep seeing it all over the place. How is it different then any other paint?

Oh Katie this is for sure a beauty. I love the dark top. I have a question...I ordered the Aubusson blue AS paint. It looks very teal and I was wondering how to make it more blue? Should I add some Old White? I think I have a sample of Old Ochre too if you think that would help. I'm disappointed. I guess I thought it was more of a navy blue. Maybe I should give up the painting thing and stick to sewing. :o)

Once again, Katie, you've knocked yourself out with the Annie Sloan paint!! It looks FANTASTIC!! The cool white married with the warm dark brown is a perfect match. The table legs have some nice features in their curves, too. Great job! andrea@townandprairie
