Campaign Dresser

I purchased this campaign dresser from Craig's List.  I love the color peacock and was waiting for the right piece to come along.  I thought this piece in my entryway would look good in a bold color.  I chose Martha Stewart's Plumage color matched in Behr's Paint and Primer in One.  I gave it a final coat of Minwax Polycrylic for protection.

I used Rub 'n Buff in Antique Gold on the hardware.  Rub 'n Buff works wonders; it's truly magical.

Before.

After.

Fantastic! I have this campaign chest stored many season's in my garage in a glossy apple green (children's playroom). Wonder if I could strip & repaint? Apt to have funky garage storage scent...kids are in 40's! Will paint-strip help?

Wow, that is amazing! I never seem to find good-stuff like this dresser in my small town (area) of NW IL. It's like everyone wants "fixed up" prices for their broken things because they know people search for "before" stuff to redo.

Nice job!
