Your veronia is great... I've been searching for one for some time myself. The hawk and squirrel shot is something else! A great closer for a beautiful post!
I really like the combination of Liatris and Rudbeckia. Your garden looks stunning.
Happy GBBD :)
I like your plant palette, veronia, rudbeckia and liatris are all some of my favorites and enjoy growing them all as I see you do. Thanks for inviting my into your garden.
I have not seen that color of monarda...so lovely! And I really enjoyed the wildlife shots. Happy GBBD!
Lovely garden, Katie! I enjoyed the color in the 2nd-4th images and the critter captures especially.
I love how the squirrel is hiding under the chair! Great job, squirrel, and great job, Katie for snapping the photo!
I love your words . . . 'fritillary', and the cicada wings. So beautiful!
Love your pics....I've been trying to get some pics of butterflies but I never get the camera out in time.
Wonderful shots!!! The close-up pics of the insects are amazing!!!

What a lovely garden. I found you at Tracie's and I am now going to follow you so I can visit your lovely garden. How do you know what bugs are what? Love the hawk..he's cool...
Thses are stunning pictures! Amazing how you got the cicada, butterfly, and dragonfly. Crazier yet is that photo of the hawk on the chair with the squirrel below. It doesn't even look worried!
Love all of the green!
Gorgeous photos!

Beautiful purples and yellows in your gardens. We have had quite the critter activity in our gardens as of late....great Hawk capture.
Your photos are absolutely beautiful.

Your gardens must be crazy with butterflies right now - everything you shared is just screaming a butterfly haven! thanks for sharing over here at Fishtail Cottage's Garden Party! oxox, tracie
What a beautiful natural garden! :) LG Tina
We have many of the same plants but mine have finished blooming. We occasionally get hawks after the song birds, but never the squirrels- too bad as we're over run with them.
