Dragonfly on car antennae

Hawk swooping down on squirrel under chair.  The hawk flew away--without the squirrel.

Your veronia is great... I've been searching for one for some time myself. The hawk and squirrel shot is something else! A great closer for a beautiful post!

I have not seen that color of monarda...so lovely! And I really enjoyed the wildlife shots. Happy GBBD!

Thses are stunning pictures! Amazing how you got the cicada, butterfly, and dragonfly. Crazier yet is that photo of the hawk on the chair with the squirrel below. It doesn't even look worried!

We have many of the same plants but mine have finished blooming. We occasionally get hawks after the song birds, but never the squirrels- too bad as we're over run with them.
