Desk in Aubusson Blue

Love those legs!

This desk was purchased from Craig's List and painted in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Aubusson Blue, AS clear wax and distressed.

The top was stripped then stained with Minwax Dark Walnut.
The inside of the drawer was painted in Louis Blue for contrast.

Before.

After.  Ahh, so much better.

Thanks for visiting,

Beautiful transformation Katie. I love the color blue you chose, it looks fabulous with the naturally stained table top. I haven't had the opportunity to try chalk paint, I think I will have to start scheming :).

I love that desk and just started using Aubusson. I love it waxed with the dark wax. The color is really more teal in person than I was expecting. I have painted two picture frames and am trying to figure which furniture piece to paint. thanks for joining the party.
